Office move for Carer Support
Great news! We have negotiated a lease on shop front premises at 245B Main North Road (corner of Ness Street, opposite the “Middle Pub”). Our Clare Carer Support team – Leanne, Amelia, and Denisia, plus our Telephone Support Volunteers, Judy, Patricia and Jenny – will be moving in in late June. Sandra, as Carer Support Manager (who also has responsibility for the Balaklava Carer Support team) will remain at Blanche Street.
This will mean a main street frontage and access for the first port of call for many of our Carers, and higher visibility for our organisation. It will also enable us to redesign the Blanche Street office to make it more comfortable a workspace for the Carer Respite and Administrative Staff.
Watch out for news of a grand opening about mid year!.
Annual Planning Day
SA Country Carers Annual Planning Day for 2014 will be on Tuesday May 6th from 10.00 am to 3 .30 pm
We invite you all – Carers, Volunteers, Staff and Board members – to come along and have a say about what you want your organisation to work towards in the coming year.
We will present the overall results of the recent Carers, Staff and Volunteers’ surveys, as well as a comparison with the results of previous years’ surveys. Steve, our CEO, will present a brief review of recent and pending changes to funding arrangements and legislation which might affect our work over the next 12 months, and everyone will be invited to put forward their planning ideas.
The venue will be the Barbara Long Room at the Clare Town Hall. Morning tea and a light lunch will be served.
